Mission Australia is supported by thousands of passionate volunteers who generously donate their time, energy and expertise to help us to deliver our programs and services for Australians in need.
Volunteers from the general public, local community groups, churches and corporate partners play a vital role in helping us achieve our goal of reducing homelessness and strengthening communities around the country.
We are extremely grateful for the contributions each volunteer makes to our work.
Volunteering with Mission Australia often requires working with some of the most vulnerable people in our community. Due to the nature of our work we require volunteers to complete a police check and a Working With Children Check if accessing information relating to or working with children or young people.
Mission Australia is committed to keeping children and young people safe with zero tolerance of harm or abuse, and expects every employee and volunteer to reflect this commitment.
