Hambledon House Community Centre
The heart of the community
Welcome to Hambledon House Community Centre
Hambledon House Community Centre offers community information, connection, and support to the people in the Cairns south area. If we don’t have the service you need, we’ll help connect you to the right one. The centre is funded by the Queensland Government and managed by Mission Australia.
Our Services
Families and Children
At Hambledon House Community Centre, we offer dedicated support for families and children in the South Cairns area, walking together with families who need our assistance.
Communities for Children
We are a Communities for Children Facilitating Partner, delivering programs and support to children in the Cairns south community.
Volunteer Program
Volunteers fulfill a crucial role at the centre. We are always looking for volunteers to help us continue our work.
Community Support
We are dedicated to supporting families and individuals in Cairns south through community-driven initiatives, including emergency relief.
Who we are
We are supported by Mission Australia, a national Christian charity, helping vulnerable Australians gain independence for over 160 years. We provide support through housing, mental health services, family assistance, and more. With 3,000 staff and the backing of government, corporate partners, and generous Australians, we stand by those in need until they can stand on their own.
