The next in our series of South Side Bites recipes is a one pan dish for the whole family. This is a simple meal that can be prepared in 30 minutes. It is perfect for that quick meal in the evening. What’s more is that it is absolutely delicious. We’ll have a video of this dish being cooked by our new Community Chaplain Mandy Butcher shortly.
For now here is the recipe card:
Like all the recipes in the South Side Bites series this dish uses items most people are likely to have in their pantry or can readily obtain locally without costing too much. The items for this dish cost us around $25. That included items we can use again on other dishes such as Worcestershire Sauce, Dried Mixed Herbs and a jar of Crushed Garlic. If you already have these ingredients it will cost even less. Mozzarella Cheese can be substituted by any other chees you may have at home.
Let us know how you go with this dish.
Remember if you have a recipe using ingredients most people would already have or are easily and cheaply obtained locally please send it in to us. We’d love to share these with the whole community.
